Diving in Polynesia: what level, what training?
In Polynesia, everyone can dive and enjoy the riches of the lagoons: from beginners wanting to try their first dive to experienced divers seeking thrills.
Two environments for all profiles:
• Society Islands (Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Huahine, Raiatea, Maupiti, Taha'a): peaceful lagoons, accessible drop-offs, gentle or non-existent currents. Ideal for quiet dives, first dives, first bubbles, and discovery dives.
• Tuamotu (Rangiroa, Fakarava, Tikehau): the passes are world-famous for their spectacular dives. They often require more skill due to the currents and are more suited to certified divers (minimum advanced level recommended). Thrills guaranteed!
