Homemade Bounty Bars

Quick and easy to prepare, and with just three ingredients, you can reproduce these famous bars to perfection at home, to the delight of chocolate and coconut lovers.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 200 g sweetened condensed milk
- 200 g grated coconut
- 200 g dark chocolate
Preparation:
- Mix the condensed milk with the grated coconut.
- Working with your hands, shape the mixture into small rectangular bars. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper as you go.
- Freeze for 1 hour. The coconut bars should be firm enough to handle without breaking.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler (bain‑marie) and, using a fork, dip each coconut bar into the chocolate to coat.
- Return the chocolate‑coated bars to a rack or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill for about 1 hour, or until the chocolate has set.
