Born in Tahiti, Ann-Ly grew up in a Polynesian family deeply rooted in tradition. From a very young age, she learned crafts and sewing from her grandmother, who was originally from Rimatara, while sharing unique moments of fishing and pearl farming on the Takaroa atoll alongside her grandfather.
She has always been immersed in 'ori Tahiti, Tahitian dance, which she has been practicing since the age of 3. Her passion led her to join two professional dance troupes and fulfill one of her dearest dreams: to dance at the famous “Heiva i Tahiti”, Polynesia's largest cultural event.
Guided by her love for her fenua (country) and its heritage, Ann-Ly naturally gravitated toward tourism, which she chose as her vocation upon graduation.
She has had the opportunity to travel to more than twenty iconic islands in French Polynesia, immersing herself in local communities. From the most famous islands to the most remote, she knows the landscapes, accommodations, and best activities to offer you for a unique stay. For more than eight years, she has been sharing her passion and putting her expertise at the service of those who wish to live an authentic experience that respects Polynesian culture and nature.
Her favorite island : Mataiva in the Tuamotu Archipelago & Raivave in the Austral Islands
Her favorite dish : “Pua'a choux” (Pua'a choux is a Polynesian dish made with pork, cabbage, carrots, and turnips) followed by a delicious banana Po’e (Tahitian Banana Po'e is a mixture of shredded coconut, vanilla bean, bananas, brown sugar, and cinnamon)
Her passion : 'Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance)
