Vairehe FAIVRE

Vairehe has spent most of her life on the East Coast of Tahiti. She grew up alongside her Polynesian grandparents, who passed on to her the values and richness of local culture. As a child, her parents loved escaping to Moorea, to their “little green house” by the beach, where she grew up with her feet in the sand.

She later continued her studies in France, earning a Master’s degree, before naturally turning to tourism, a field that quickly became a true passion. Through her journey, Vairehe (known as Vai) hopes to honor her love for her Fenua (island) and share it with fellow enthusiasts and dreamers longing to discover it.

She became a Polynesia travel specialist within a Parisian agency, returning to the Fenua every year and exploring four of the five archipelagos that make up French Polynesia. After many years in the industry, Vairehe joined the e-TAHITI travel team with one clear purpose: to share the mana of the islands and turn your dream of discovering their mythical landscapes into reality.
It’s not just a trip, it’s a life experience that stays with you forever.

Her favorite island: Maupiti, for its back-to-basics charm, like traveling back in time. Imagine the islands of French Polynesia 20 years ago.

Her favorite dish: Raw fish with coconut milk (especially her grandfather’s recipe!).

Her passion: Diving, she completed her Level 1 certification in Tahiti, though she also loves snorkeling just as much.
