Tahitian banana fritters recipe

Ingredients (serves 4):
- 4 bananas
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- Oil (for frying)
- 150 g flour
- 1 egg
- ⅓ packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 glass of water
- Grated coconut
Preparation:
- Peel the bananas and cut them into large chunks.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, egg, baking powder, salt and the glass of water. The batter should have the consistency of a classic fritter batter.
- Heat a deep pan of oil. Dip the banana pieces in the batter, then fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with sugar and/or grated coconut.
