Hiriata grew up on a motu (islet) on the island of Moorea in perfect harmony with Mother Nature.
She used to look after the marine animals and the frigate birds that surrounded the island and she used to make shell curtains with her mother and small wooden dugouts with her father.
This love of the sea and its richness led her naturally to the tourism industry. Like a small fish sailing from island to island, she first worked as a tour guide and then as a lagoon captain in Moorea, Bora Bora, Tetiaroa and Tahiti.
After many years sharing her passion with visitors from all over the world, she decided to join e-Tahiti Travel with the objective of creating authentic and unforgettable journeys for our customers. Hiriata wants to make sure tourists get to discover our traditions and our breathtaking landscapes.

Her favorite island : a special link with the “sister island”, Moorea
Her favorite Polynesian dish : Uru punu pua toro” (breadfruit and corned beef) eaten preferably on the beach between 2 surf sessionshrimps in coconut milk, and also Taro chips
