Rachel PICARD-ROBSON

Travel Coordinator
Rachel was born in Tahiti to a line of Royal Tahitian Family ancestors; she is proud of her Polynesian origins and very attached to her traditional culture and her Fenua (the land).
In 1999, she spent a year studying in Nelson, New Zealand’s South Island. After obtaining her “Certificate in Travel and Tourism”, she left the Kiwi territory to return home. In 2000, Rachel came back to Tahiti to work in a large 5* star hotel chain and then decided to fulfill one of her greatest dreams which was to become a flight attendant.
After 19 years of professional career for a local and then an international airline, both based in Tahiti, she joined the e-TAHITI travel adventure as a Travel Coordinator.
Passionate about travel and offering travelers a warm and caring welcome while making them feel pampered, Rachel wishes to perpetuate the need to share traditional Polynesian values.
Her favorite island : Moorea for its natural authenticity and its “Man”a. A very special place to recharge and reconnect with “Mother Nature” and her “Tupuna” (ancestors).
Her favorite Polynesian dish : raw fish with coconut milk also known as the “Tahitian salad” & Chicken with tarot and sweet potato gratin
