“Heiva” means “the party”, and it is also the name of a cultural festival in French Polynesia that takes place every year in July (tiurai). Heiva inherited her name from her great-grandmother “Madeleine Moua”, a great figure of Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance) who created the first “Heiva” dance group in 1956.

Having spent her entire childhood on the atoll of Rangiroa alongside her family who ran a guesthouse, Heiva loved to dance to entertain the guests.

When she arrived in Tahiti to pursue her higher education, she developed a taste for the world of tourism. She finally joined e-Tahiti Travel as a Customer Service Agent and she enjoys making sure our travelers’ stays are well prepared. She is the one who make sure that our visitors’ stay goes smoothly before and during the trip in French Polynesia.

Her favorite island : Rangiroa, where life is good.

Her favorite Polynesian dish :
