My Polynesian Life in Moorea

Sam offers a unique and authentic experience of his culture and his home, on a one-to-one cultural immersion for a day.

In the morning, he will take you on a short session on his outrigger canoe, the traditional means of transport, to fish for your own lunch. With the catch of the day, you will learn the traditional way to prepare fish as all Polynesians know best – the national dish “poisson cru” (raw fish and vegetables salad).

After your meal, a bit of basket weaving on the agenda and a trip to the backyard produce garden to discover all the tropical fruit and vegetables. The whole day will be punctuated by the story of legends and Sam’s childhood memories to help you understand and live a truly Polynesian day.

Transfers are included to/from your accommodation.
