Heifara BARFF
Travel Designer, Tahiti Specialist
With a mother from the bay of Ra’ai, on the “Vanilla Island” of Tahaa, and a father from the Tuamotu islands (Fakarava & Rangiroa), Heifara was lucky enough to grow up in a family for whom the Polynesian life is a true state of mind inscribed in her daily life. (Traditional dance, Va’a (outrigger canoe), cooking, monoi making, fishing, herbal remedies, shell collecting…)
Growing up, because of her deep passion for her culture and heritage, she spontaneously went to the French Polynesian Art Conservatory, and later, turned to the tourism sector in order to share the richness, diversity and authenticity of her “Fenua” (country).
Planning your journey in the Polynesian archipelagos is a real passion for Heifara, beyond being simply her job.
Her favorite island : Fakarava ; She has a particular fondness for the village of Tetamanu, where you feel like you are at the end of the world and where time stands still.
Her favorite Polynesian dish : A good tuna trio with Tartare, raw fish and Carpaccio ; but also Taro chips
