Nauhei GUITTENY
Travel Coordinator
A Passionate Ambassador of Taha’a Island and Polynesian Traditions
Born in Tahiti but raised on the enchanting island of Taha’a, Nā’uhei is deeply connected to the island through a Polynesian tradition known as “Pu Fenua” or the burial of the placenta. This tradition forms a profound bond between a Polynesian child and their “Fenua”, their land.
Upon returning to Taha’a after a prolonged separation, Nā’uhei developed a keen interest in the tourism industry with the goal of promoting and, above all, preserving her island. Taha’a, often referred to as “the wild one,” has retained its charm and authenticity.
Through unwavering perseverance, Nā’uhei successfully pursued her aspirations, earning a degree in Tourism with a BTS qualification (Advanced National Diploma).
She takes great pleasure in accompanying you throughout your travel projects, sharing the Polynesian values ingrained in her since childhood. Her infectious smile, kindness, knowledge-sharing, and warm interactions are all reflections of these values.
Her favorite island : Taha’a, cherished for its simple way of life and its inhabitants who have preserved the traditional greeting, “arofa”.
Her favorite Polynesian dish : Fafaru, an unconventional dish that may seem intimidating at first, but becomes delicious when you’re used to its taste!
