The Veke Veke Village is a Guest House, 8km from the village of Rotoava. An idyllic place to enjoy the lagoon, the coconut grove and the simple life in the Tuamotu atolls. Thierry and Lenick will welcome you into their home. The bungalows are situated by the sandy lagoon front and decorated in a typical Polynesian style. The facilities are simple but the essential amenities are well maintained: en suite bathroom, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and a small terrace overlooking the lagoon. Not a place to stay WIFI connected and to keep abreast of the news of the world. The breakfast and dinner are served in a dining area overlooking the lagoon; your feet cooled by the finely crushed coral flooring and the cool sea breeze. The dinner meals are simple and typical of the atoll of Fakarava – mostly fresh catch of the day. On certain evenings, dinners are served in the overwater gazebo located at the end of the pontoon in front of the pension…a perfect place for a sunset cocktail at the end of the day.
